I think my account is suffering a shadowban. For months i've been using Instander to get a flawless no ads experience and now my post (quality memes in a niche without any relevant meme accounts) and reels lost 90% traffic in a matter of 2 weeks. Also the meme quality is rising so i think Instagram slammed my account with a shadow ban.

¿Any ways to _bypass_ a shadow ban?

Also this is my first post created in this forum. Remember to always have fun.

First off, id recommend making sure you are in fact actually shadow banned before you put in the effort to get out of a hole you weren't in in the first place :)

This is something i found on Google that makes sense :

For the simplest and most reliable method of checking whether you’ve been shadowbanned on Instagram, whether you’re a business or not, you can simply see for yourself whether your posts are showing up on hashtag results pages. How do you do this? You’ll need access to an account (or someone with an account) that is not following the account you want to check. Immediately after you post something to Instagram, use this other account to click on the hashtags you used and see if your post appears in the search results for those hashtags.

For more reliable results, try and do this from multiple accounts and on several different posts.
It’s important to check immediately after posting because posts can be bumped off the hashtag pages quickly – especially if the hashtag is a popular one. We recommend using a hashtag that isn’t too popular!

Damn and apparently, using banned hashtags can cause a shadowban too

I've checked and the posts appear on minor hashtags (like 1000 post) but on the 1m post hashtags doesnt appear. Checked the recently tag to find the post.

From what I can figure, there are only two things you can do. One is, go to settings and report this problem to Instagram.

And two, take a break. Stop using it altogether for a few days (so the algo resets, maybe?) and then be a bit more careful when you start using it again.

Now, if the second point is as effective as they say is it, don't you think deactivating the whole account while you are taking that break would also be very effective?

Instagram doesnt care and rarely reply's to low or small end users

True that, heard about a user with 50k+ followers who got her account banned for fake mass spam reports and never really heard back from support, ever

Depending on severity, shadowban's usually lift after a few hours up to a week or so. It's very impacting but to my knowledge, there's no clean way to lift it. Alternate ways may exist but doing so may also impact the account further to a more serious ban so there's that to consider.
