It takes year or 2 to get any money from a blog.
And its huge amount of work and you wont know if the blog will even work and makes money.

Imho blogging is the worst way to make money ASAP.

After a year and a half's hardwork you have reached till $200/month. How can a newbie, with no knowledge or experience can earn in a time frame less than that to be able to pay his education fees?

@lilkrito My suggestion would be to start a You Tube channel. While I am not saying that you will reach $500 quickly, but this method is the faster one than blogging method for earning money. It is not a guarantee of a rapid income, but it can guarantee some good amount in coming few months (if not years) with your own content.

It also depends on quality of that traffic, some people have 100k pageviews and earn less than 200$, on the other hand someone with only 1-5k can earn more than 1000$ per month, there is also an option to flip the market and your traffic so you can send people from something that doesn't make much to something that does, but it's still hard when you pick a competitive niche or are just starting out, everything requires hard work and time if you want results

I'd suggest that you learn how to provide a service, which is usually what I suggest to newer members.

Something like these:

- account creation (PVA or aged, etc).
- Web design/graphic design.
- programming/app dev.
- learn SEO, plenty of people buy SEO related services.
- VA, mostly data entry type jobs.

Find low comp keywords in the same subniche that combined bring in total 20-30k uv per month. Spread that into 100 decent articles (which you can write yourself in 2-3 months) and you get at least $500/mo.

I see some of you propose Fiverr, freelancing, graphic design, programming... I have knowledge in programming and I tried with Fiverr but never get chance because there are too many people out there. It's hard to get a chance to show what you know. People with few hundred reviews earn good money I believe but it is hard to get there because no one will chose new person with 0 or few reviews.
