What would be the general rule about having multiple YouTube Channels? Say if you have a different language for your videos and don't want one audience to be associated with the other.

Do you create new emails for each Channel or make them under existing ones?

Different emails
In case one gets terminated, you're still left with a few

Create different emails and keep the accounts separate with proxies and account management browser.

You can make different channel under one gmail

You can make different channel under one gmail
you can create, but its not recommended. your revenue will also be splitted among those channels.
For example if you make $1000 in one channel, when you open a new channel under same gmail, then channel A makes $800 and channel B makes $200. No proof for this, but i have experinced in this way, so better make it seperate.

Yeah, that's my concern: don't Youtube have a way of knowing those all are your channels anyway? Back in the day I remember opening new Adwords accounts after my old one was banned and they found a way to have me banned probably through cookies on my computer or something.

How does this happen, though? You start receiving less traffic in one Channel and more in the other?

I used to get 1 million views per month, but after starting a new channel B and once the algorithm picked views, then 1st channel views reduced to around 700K and new channel got 300K views. Later i created another channel C and i used to get views all together of 1 Millions per month.

I am still using those accounts and now one channel get into algorithm and other 2 will not. then next month channel B will get into Alogorithm and channel A & C wont. it is repeating for couple of months.

I think new accounts for different channel would be better.

i can confirm this to be the case. the problem with views throttling when you scale with multiple channels on same ip/adsense

Different mate , use all different with proxies or all would be banned soon !

Having multiple accounts under one email. Will help you to better organize your content by gathering all videos on a specific genre or niche under one account. This makes the videos more presentable and easier to search.

wow, that's very weird behavior for a YouTube indeed.

What if they're of different niches? I currently have 2 active channels: one large (22k subs) and one starting in a foreign language on a different email address. What would be the best way to separate them?

Have you found a solution around that?
solutuon is to use different accounts with different proxies. Also use account management browser so that every accounts will be different.
For advanced users, use different computer and internet for different accounts

Yes, keep a separate mail for each channel. That is good to keep the channels secure as well.

1 account per proxy or we can run 5-10 channels ? how many channels per gmail account ? I just want to spam youtube by running 500 channels for branding of a product
