Recently cane across an article that talked about how people had been buying blue checks on insta and elsewhere and meta removed 1000s of them just yesterday

Yes, a lot of people want the check mark its a really powerful feature, it boosts your status a lot. If I am not wrong there was a bhw member that also sold this service maybe someone knows.
