Struggling to earn with Google Adsense

I have a blog and the traffic has been steadily increasing for the past few months. I am struggling to earn with Adsense because I have a CTR of around 0.3% on the ads that Adsense is displaying. I have other websites and I have never had such a low CTR rate on the ads although I have been using just auto ads on those sites. I can't use auto ads on this because it totally ruins the look of the site whereas I don't care to much about the look of my other websites.

Here's the current layout:

One ad below the navigation, one ad below the blog post title, one ad in the side bar at the top. I also have the ads to show when the site is clicked through.

I have also noticed that sometimes I will look at my site on other devices and browsers an the ad spaces are just blank white space. I have heard that this is because Google does not have any relevant ads at that time.

Does anyone know of any tips or tricks to increase the CTR on my ads such as a different layout etc?

That's fine. It happens because you try other browsers without search history and new cookie so google has no info, but it shows ads to real visitors with history.

You have a bunch of ads at the top of the content, so ppl just scroll to read the article. Put some ads in the content.

Is your traffic mobile? If so, get rid of sidebar ads, it's useless on mobile.

Can't you add the sticky ad that scrolls with you?

Get rid of vignette ads.

My traffic is 60% mobile and the rest mostly desktop.

I am not sure on how to add the sticky ad but I will look into it. I will also remove vignette ads. Thanks.

Do you mean create the HTML + CSS mark-up to make the ads sticky or does Adsense have this built in?

what is your expected revenue form the mentioned site?

I'm in the same boat. I made about $50 this past month with over 20,000 visitors. I think it's because my auto ads are being placed in the navigation pane. I have the problem with my sites that shows only adsense, does only show them on the main page, not the articles

I use Generatepress on everything almost... I can get close to 97/100 on Google Page Speed with it. Sometimes better and it shows ads well on my Adsense sites.

You need to check quality of blog and visitors. Increase organic and high quality traffic.

Your ctr is very low, play with some themes and you will get higher ctr.
