Does Tiered Link Building Still Work in 2022?

i watched all of the video, but it doesnt mention anything about 3 levels deep, or anything similar, tell me if im wrong

this is where your problem is. you are using a third party tool to see the link profile of your competitors. They show all the backlinks and even the shitty ones. Most likely google is ignoring all those shitty backlinks. Your competitors are getting ranked by links that you are not seeing in those third party tools. what you are seeing is just noise.

Besides the fact that tiered link building as been always useful at some point to guarantee indexing the backlinks you created or adquired, link juice being transmited from page to page never stopped to be considered.
So it's quite obvious that if your backlinks are getting backlinks too, those will be worth more that backlinks on the same scenario that don't get mentioned anywhere nor social signals.
A secured way to build a tiered link building campaign will be to ensure quality at least on TIER 1 and 2, keeping shitty backlinks (GSA, Scrapebox, etc) away from your MS.

Tier 3 backlinks aren't necessary if your tier 2 links are good quality. That's the point. If they have quality link profiles, those will pass the authority to your tier 1 links. It's as simple as that.
ok, i missed a bit out, i saw the bit about where various people are not overly enthusiastic about web 2.o's , but the links i am building are for small, or very small search terms, (i.e. local terms) so i am still using web 2.0's for the links im building.
i am not targeting main terms or anywhere near that, just the local terms for local pages.

it is probably true, but there was nothing about it in that video.

the amount of competition & size of market / amount of searches affects the type of links you can use (or the other way around) so web 2.0s are ok in my book,
but without anything underneath them, web 2.0s are orphan pages, so i was asking about the

Well, I got your point. Obviously if someone is hiding their quality links (in this case they must be their PBNs) from third party tools using ..htacsess or WAF, then its impossible to see the links.

yes, Tiered link works. First Tier 1 links from
- High domain authority
- Strong backlink profiles
- Lots of traffic
- Niche relevancy
- Social media platforms
- content indexes
- Low DR from guest posts
- some degree of relevance to First tier links
- High quality PBNs
if not gsa for tier 2, what are you using to boost tier 1 ?
& when you say not gsa on tier 2, do you mean ok to use gsa on tier 3, or not at all ?

Yes, that's a crucial point. Nobody will want their tier-1 to outrank their moneysite.
In that case, I think content on the tier-1 web 2.0s plays a huge role.
- intentionally On-page SEO error.
- Giving just a glimpse of the overall topic regarding the kw (though quality content)
- use of more nacked url to link money sites.
These are my thoughts and I am doing this way.

Yes its still work. try to create backlinks on High DA and Low spam score sites.

Yes tired link building is still the best & effective ....
