Should I Disallow Indexing of Singular Feed : "mysite.com/%article%/feed/"

Hi there,

I've been trough my GSC and found out that there's a lot of "Crawled, currently not indexed" pages that follows this schema : "https://"mysite.com/%article%/feed/".
I assume this feed is not useful to anyone and especially for google as it is the feed of a single article or page on my website.


Would you Disallow this schema via robots.txt ? I will NOT disallow the main feed of my website (mysite.com/feed/)

yes, although I was wondering: can't you disable it via your SEO plugin? Because SEO plugins can take care of such things by simply ticking a checkbox in their settings

You can redirect all feeds to the normal posts/pages. There is a plugin I use myself. Have to go outside now in the rl.

Give me a hour and I'll be back in my cave and I look up what I use and post it here.

The plugin is called Disable Feeds. In the description you can see that it redirects to the original post/page.

After installing it your feeds should slowly disappear from "Crawled, currently not indexed"

I've noticed it is updated 4 years ago, maybe i will use another one in the future just to be on the safe side.

So I have two solutions :
- Asking to Google to not index it at all by Disallowing it in robots.txt -> won't eat any crawl budget, right ?
- Redirecting it to the post itself -> it will still eat crawl budget, no ?

What do you think the best solution is ?
In all cases, I want to be sure that those feeds are useless to index. Even google show it as "Crawled, currently not indexed", so I guess I am right there.
