Google index issue or what? please help

I am facing this issue. When I check from my regular browser its showing 29 and when I use incognito or another browser then its 900+

There is no tool for us to check accurately how many of our pages have been indexed, apart from site:domain.com/page one by one.
If you have thousand of pages.. then nothing you can do.

And when you move to page 2 - it will show again 29 or stay like 955 on incognito. If not, try to clear the cache and try again.

Yeah when I go to page 2 its back to 29 in Incognito mode also

This website is only 1 month old, it can be the reason?

Then the results are precise, and 29 are the correct estimate - even like that, google needs to index more to show more results.

Could be. It takes a while for the index to update. From what you're saying you probably had 900, then 60 then 29

Check your logs for crawling errors or server downtime.

I have a website that I started in January 2022. It had 17 results showing as indexed using site: operator until recently. However it has almost 200 products. Almost all of those products were ranking for their product name/phrases. Even now site: operator only returns 30 results but most products are indexed and ranking.

I don’t think the site: operator returns reliable results anymore. It’s almost like there’s two indexes.

Dont pay attention to that directly. You’ll get conflicting results that way.

There’s a panel inside of GSC that shows you how many pages your site has vs how many are actually indexed.

That’s the one that I would personally consider more correct than the others. I’m not going to say that’s absolutely the correct number, but it’s the one I’d trust to be the most accurate.

If my page isn’t listed as indexed there, I submit it for indexing.

I thought so, but not anymore. My gsc stuck at 190 for over 1 week now.

At the same time I keep publishing hundred of new articles everyday, and most of them got indexed(manual test). site:domain.com/blog/ and search the link one by one.

Yet it still showed 190

While trough site: its showed over 1000+ pages
