Suppose we are working on a channel for some time and it never picks off. So after how much time, should we abandon it completely and focus on other new channels?

Lot of videos. About 150 in an year but just informational without showing face.

I would probably not abandon it but instead focus on advertising elsewhere to it (like forums specifically looking for that type of info in your niche, e.g tech forums for pc tutorials or something) and not upload at all.
Many old channels will have a video that suddenly hits the algorithm and blows up, so it's no point in completely abandoning it rather just changing how you go about it.

Why the channel didn't take off?
Did you get some shadowban or restriction?
Is the niche good? how are your competitors doing?
How did you promote the channel? Are there other ways you could implement?

I feel it is dead now because of initial videos not performing.

You can always delete the non performing videos to boost your channel, channel have no impact unless the botted subs or non active subs. I have tested that alot and i can clearly say that channel is never bad unless the subs on it. just remove the non performing videos and channel can do good with the performing videos.
As you say its the faceless channel so is it like combining many creative commons or regular clips without much of edits and voiceover then it can be a problem. Youtube creates hashes of the video content and match it with others so the more unique content the better it will be. You can always put an animated avatar on those videos to make them a bit unique.

i made this channel about 2 months ago and it didn't get any views, there are other channels that are doing the exact same thing and they're getting a lot of views...

that's why copycats don't make it... there are only 2 channels that are make the same videos and they're getting 50k views on average...
i don't if i'm shadow banned and if i'm then why?
after all i'll try to spam the videos on reddit and stuff... and if possibe i'll buy a community post from big channels in this niche.

Never, just change the topic/theme of it and try doing something else until it catches up. The general rule is to aim for 50-100 videos (given that you've already done some research that it should work) to test your idea and if doesn't work then change direction.
