This YB Channel is Underrated - How is that even possible?

I found out this youtube channel 3 months ago by accident. His videos at that time had no more than 200 likes but the content omg was so well made.
I remind I wanted to see other content but he only had 3 videos.

Then I forgot about him and now I've just checked his YT profile thinking it must have by now thousands of subscribers but he's not.
He kept producing really high quality video imho with so little results.

what do you think? Am I exaggerating or is he really underrated?
(of course I don't have nothing to do with him, wish I was able to produce such an amazing content)

Sure he must go. But I thought youtube algorithm would do a better job.
I mean his niche usually get a tons of views with people recording themself talking about these stories.
He create visual content of each story that really help you visualise what happened.

true but I think it takes time to create something like that.
That's not the kind of content you can aim to make once a day or week.
But I agree with you it's still too fresh to get youtube spotlights

Oh and also, those videos have blood and such content wont be suggested to many.

Youtube probably cant monetize it later and that may be another reason to not push the videos.

That's also true. But I saw lots of channels about horror and crimes performing very well.
Even though I'm not sure if they are monetized or not.

Are you able to create visual content/ animations that mimic the exact story that is being described ?
If not how much that would cost to let it done by a professional?
Maybe as I said in the initial post it's me that I over rate him, but to me it looks a very well made animations with a cool selection of stories.
Clearly my opinion is from a person that knows 0 about animation and this kind of work.

It's only like 10-40 seconds of the videos and the characters and objects are pretty simple. A professional probably charges a few hundred dollars for these at most I guess, maybe cheaper on Upwork if you lowball beginners, plus you can save money by being a consistent customer of theirs and give them lots of work upfront and deliver according to their own schedule. Watch expert animator videos on Blender and see what they can achieve in a few minutes it's crazy.

wow only this to me look impressive. I thought it would cost a lot more than a few hundred dollars.
With that cost and the frequency of uploads at about 1 video each couple of weeks than it is not as impressive as I thought.
You tend to get impressed quite easily by things you don't know
