Hey everyone hope you guys are doing good, so I recently received a website design job for someone and I'll like to know how you will go about the charges
Like how will you bill the invoice

given that I will create the website, and host it
We agreed on $100
tell me what you think about it too (Is the price too low or too high?)

Depends on where you live, your experience, the size on the projects, cost of hosting and so on. It is impossible for us to know if $100 is a fair price for your work.

It should be an initial invoice - the price of the website and hosting for the first month maybe, and each month an invoice for the hosting. You can also charge in advance like for 1 year from the first invoice.

As @RoiBox said, depends on the work you put in.

Too many missing factors. Your experience level, the size of the project, what country you and the customer live in, etc.
How long are you hosting it for? One year? Forever?

My experience level i'd say intermediate
The size of the project is just a small site (for a humanitarian organization )
Hosting f or like the next 05 years or so

Easily check how much people charge and make a decision on it.
if he pays less u will do the job with no love, if he pay what u want u will do with love <3

Thats much too low...but pricing depends on your location and your clients location

Yeah honestly someone told me that too, but since I was just starting I thought it was a fair amount

Depends on Which Country Client ?
For tier 1 Mostly people Charge More
$100 with 5 year Hosting is Totally Low

It's Depends on the Clients Requirements and the Developer Effort.

Site A:
The Quality Content
Premium Theme with license
Stock Images with license
Dedicated IP for Hosting
SSL protection
Finally the Developer build a professional look.

Site B:
Spinned Content
Nulled theme
Free Image
Shared Hosting
The Developer build a Just a site layouts

I have listed the two different website config. It's depending on these things.

Love this (as well other suggestions)

All the things are based on work IF he needs Good quality work with great hosting then its very low
But if he needs just a 4 pages web on a free or nuled theme then something is better than nothing
