How does Google identify AI content?

AI content has a lot of passive sentences and human-written content has active sentences if the writer look normal, Furthermore, Al content's sentences are too long

AI content follows some algorithms, so Google can track it easily. In humans, there will be creativity in each content.

basicly using alogrithm, this ann is more like smoke gun to me. if they make the algorithm very string, than real writer will also be affected.
don't forget ai is keep evolving, the goal of ai dev is to make it indistiquishable from human writer.
except they collabe with all good ai and make them tag all article to mark it as ai content than it's hard, it's cat and mouse game anyway. they do that people will find out how to avoid it.
best way to use ai now is to generate it for idea. and rewrite the article . except you have acess to those private ai that locked from puublic

According to me it follows some sentence templates/patterns that can easily be identified.
For example I have seen many times that my AI writer comes up with 3 tips most of the time stating
Firstly, ......
Secondly, ......
Finally .....
I think those templates or patterns can be red signal.

Basically AI content is an algorithm and algorithms generally leave patterns. If you know the pattern detection is a breeze.
They will have a much harder time detecting AI content that has been edited or "massaged" by a person. Human intervention will break the pattern.

Yes, we can but think that this is just an example, there are many patterns like this that we are not aware of.
We have to study it deeper by making comparison among a lot of articles of different niches. It’s very time consuming process and I think beyond human abilities.
A machine is needed to understand the patterns of machine.

Programming/algorithms are ever-evolving and with Google's infinite resources, if anyone could detect AI content, it would be them.
With the upcoming update where they verbatim state "helpful content written BY people, FOR people", it's just a matter of time. They specifically mention content written automatically in the update as well. They could be referencing autoblogs, but most likely both.
Sure, it won't be perfect at first and will mostly target poorly optimized, spun, non-factual content, it'll evolve.

FYI; Content Quality update is already out there for some time, they are just going to roll out on full scale, i have experienced it on my sites.
1: Unique Images
2: Bounce rate
3: Google shows a pop msg when somebody visits your site and clicks back button to come back to google search results; this pop msg states "was this helpful, "yes" "No""
4: Google scrolls to certain part of your article where it detects the information asked during Google search, for example, if topic is "Peter net Worth" when user clicks your website it will automatically scroll to part of content where it is mentioned "Peter net worth is $1 Million" therefore Google detects if the the post topic information is actually mentioned in the content or not.
Fixes
1: Never use google for images, use royalti free images, use instagram, facebook, twitter and take screen shots of images instead download
2: Your site should be black hole, even if your content is AI, you can make user forget to click back button, use sliders, recommended posts, infinite scroll.
3: Always make sure that topic information is mentioned in content, but in second or third paragraph, to decrease bounce rate.
For me AI works as long as i mention the information of topic inside content, and make my website black hole

I have seen this! Google should have implemented it earlier I wonder why they didn’t implement it earlier. Even Pinterest had done this 2 years back.
