So, what's up? Hows your weekend been so far?

I'll go first:

Had a nice outing with good old friends (a couple of beers and a good lunch) after a really long time and Monday blues already getting my nerves.

A weekend makes no difference to me. That does not mean that I don't relax, doesn't not mean that I do not engage in leisure activities : I do. But, in my particular individual case, that does not need to necessarily happen on weekends.
But, I do understand that many freelancers have friends who are not freelancers and those non-freelancer friends may have only the weekends for a meetup or outing, hence some freelancers have their relaxation, outings in the weekends.
In my particular individual case, I do not and prefer not to have friends : I only maintain people (outside of family) as either clients (professionally) or acquaintances.

And those who work for a company as an employee, I do understand the fact that it is the weekends or perhaps only on Sundays when they have time for meeting friends, for outings, etc.

That's subjective, I have a few friends who are professional (fulltime) Freelancers but won't work on Sat-Sun.
