There are people who are getting success with autoblogs but I prefer authority sites.
But autoblogs especially with PAA are getting popularity nowadays, I have a plan to start one or two, just to diversify my income.
You should try both, initially you can start an autoblog, since it doesn’t require too much time everyday.

Instead, buy an aged domain and work on it
It will mitigate the sandbox effect in most cases

I have a couple of websites running on autopilot. I am not claiming they are a big success. But they are a kind of assets grown so big over the past few years without me doing anything, that would have been impossible and too much expensive if I had done that manually.

One website has over 8000 posts and 3.4k followers in Pinterest and 6557 followers in Twitter - all generated on autopilot.

If I ever decide to put this site off from autopilot and start working manually on it then I have a good solid foundation of project already laid out.
