Reviving a dead blog

What type of links will best for reviving a dead blog ? No content has been posted on the site for an year.

I mean, the usual (quality) links will work just like for any other website, but I don't think you should build links without updating / adding more content first. Just my opinion.

@kalpana007 Looks like an interesting case of reviving inactive websites. This is somewhat challenging in some cases as per my experience. So I have few questions for you -

1) Even if no content has been posted for over a year, how much traffic the blog is getting?
2) Is the blog in Wordpress?
3) What is the niche?
4) How many articles are there in it initially?
5) Any social media accounts?

This information will be helpful for BHW members to give you appropriate feedback.

No social media accounts. Blog has less than 100 articles and traffic is also very less.

I think you're asking the wrong question.

It's not the links that would revive a dead blog instead you have to complement your link building campaign with content creation.
