Hi all, tell me through what services can I connect to receive payments from India (upi, paytm) on your site? Please note, I myself am not from India, so I can't register UPI and PayTm directly

I am not from India. I need a service that will provide access to Paytm and UPI payment acceptance. That used to be PayOp, but now they've closed that feature

If you have any other options, please throw them in. It would be especially good to find a service like PayOp. The most important thing is that I could register my business there without being a resident of India

Please do not suggest crypto options. I would love to use them, but there are problems in India
1.Razorpay
2.Instamojo
3.Paypal
4.Paytm
5.Cashfree

I know only these safest payments in India.

I think you misunderstood me. I AM NOT FROM INDIA. Most of these methods are only suitable for people from India, I can't register there.

Since you are not from India, you can JV with any Indian business and share the revenue if you need something like that.
Can you tell me more about it? What is JV?

Joint Venture.
Basically you'll have to find a partner who is from INDIA.
So, He can apply to those INDIAN gateways to accept payments.

You'll share some rev with your partner.

You might have some luck getting an indian sim / number rental, registering for paytm, and linking a vcc.
Though I've never tried this nor am I well experienced with the service, from what I've read, it seems like it'll work.

It will not work. Without linking the bank account PayTM account is very limited + You need to go through KYC process to lift PayTM limits.
^ This is just for personal use. For business, this process is different.

For UPI Paytm or any other UPI based app you will need:

An Indian phone number that needs to be active as you will get otp requests many times.
An Indian bank account to link to UPI.
Bank account & UPI will obviously need KYC.
And you will need a real human also to be the one to get in touch with Bank in person when there are any issues with account and transactions.

In simple words if you are not from India you cannot use these without any issues unless you have a real person in India.

Oh I see, makes sense. I guess a stealth bank won't work since I never came across a stealth indian drop seller before.

Maybe you can try stripe but most of indian users not using 3d secure so you have always risk about chargeback
