testing a new method, clickbank health supplements + facebook ads

have been doing clickbank health supplements + facebook ads since beginning of june

been banging my head against the wall for 2.5 months

i think i finally figured it out though

i spied on some winning ads and landing pages

i then whipped up some original content that is very similar to what a winning clickbank ad looks like. also made a similar landing page that directs to the VSL

i'm keeping the facebook ad strategy simple too. 1 CBO - 1 broad ad set - 4 creatives

putting $500 on these ads for tomorrow. already got 1 sale today and made $111 of commission promoting this health supplement

i'm hoping the ads pop off tomorrow and i can start scaling this CBO to $1000 per day, $2000 per day, and eventually $4-5k per day

once the profit starts dying down i plan to pivot to another health offer and see if i can replicate the results by using similar creatives and landing pages


if my ads don't pop off tomorrow then my plan is to change up my ad strategy. instead of 1 cbo - 1 ad set - 4 creatives, i'm gonna do 1 abo - 10 ad sets - 4 creatives

i'm first attempting the simple way to run facebook ads. 1 cbo - 1 adset. maybe i can scale up that way

if this fails though, i'll go more complicated and see if that way is better

if my original content ads fail to take off and get high CPMs tomorrow, then i'm gonna continue using the stolen creatives i have, for now

i'll continue to make adjustments to my original content ads and eventually i'll find out why exactly my own ads aren't performing as good as the stolen ones even though they are nearly identical. this process will take time, and i may never find out why. but it'll be an ongoing effort for me because i am genuinely curious how exactly these stolen ads are producing results and if there's a way i can take the same elements, put a spin on it, and recreate unique ads for myself.

during this ongoing process i'll be running the stolen ads so i can take profits in the meantime



i think i covered all my bases for now. am i missing anything?

update: i'm still testing out things but the stolen creatives and even a different ad strategy didn't work so well

first day of running ads i got a good amount of sales for the first 8-12 hours, was up in profit about $70. then for the next 12-16 hours i got no sales whatsoever

and even 8 hours into the next day, no sales at all

so it's very volatile and unpredictable

definitely try on lower budgets first and let the ads run for at least a few days to get a variety of data

update: at the moment i am profitable. by about $50-60

this looks really easy but it's actually really hard when you dig into the set up and details. certain elements need to be in place to get conversions with facebook ads... gurus and no one will ever tell you this, or even admit that it exists. but trust me, success of a campaign depends MASSIVELY on 1 or 2 key elements...

i may end up losing all my profit by the end of the day though, who knows

this shit is random at the moment

the importance of using an affiliate tracker:

can't rely on facebook ads dashboard data. sometimes it never reports the conversions

aff tracker makes it possible to see all the conversion and which ad set. so now i can scale up the winning ad sets

I would advise you to not run CBO until you have a couple of winning adset with good targeting, else this will eat up your budget, and FB algorithm may let you miss some good targets.

Run 5 adset for the campaign for like $25 / day, after 3 days, pick the winning adset and run them under one CBO campaign, and just keep pouring money.

As for the overall performance of the campaign, did you think about using the creatives you spied on on another traffic source? sometimes ads may be used too often on the same platform.

If you burn $500, I will also recommend adding an optin page before the landing page. So you can also earn more in backed via email automation. You can send them related products in the future to get additional sales.

Also, save the audience in Facebook pixel, and add google remarketing script to save the audience later you can remarket
