I have a low end laptop but I wanna edit videos.

- RAM 2gb
- AMD Radeon R2 Graphics (2 CPUs)

Could you share to me, what are some decent software can I use without any lag with some good features.

I wanna use it for make simple videos like slideshow and social media videos with add some effects.

Thank you

I think Premiere Pro should be able to run on bad PC if you set your settings down, I enjoyed Sony Vegas like 10 years ago when I had bad PC. Worked great. Rendering took ages but program ran flawlessly.

Maybe older versions of blender.
you are a jr vip with 2 years old account and you recommend BLENDER? software which is used purely for 3d stuff, 3d modeling and 3d animating? wtf...

op, use either premiere, vegas, the default windows editor, or some online tool. any local software will probably be laggy, but if you keep your videos short and simple it will be doable. your render times might be long. also keep in mind that hiding effects layers will improve the performance. online tools are your best best because they run on cloud, but there might be limitations if you want to be purely free.

Try openshot, it's free and open source. Might run... cant guarantee you're going to have very good rendering times though.

sorry, but recommending blender for video editing is like recommending notepad for c# programming. the fact that it is possible doesnt mean its a viable option. editing anything in blender would be horrible pain, that function is there solely to export your 3d animations. but im not going to continue arguing with you.

I would recommend cloud based video editing tools like Adobe Spark.

with those especification any recent software might give you problems and could take you hours just to render a 15 minutes video, if I'm not wrong clipchamp can be downloaded on the microsfot store for free and you can also use it from their website I will recomend you to use their website so your computer doesn't take too much stress.

you can try these and for recommendation as for your pc's spec don't try to use lot of vfx stuffs
  1. Wondershare Filmora
  2. VSDC
  3. VideoPad

Get an older version of Adobe Premierem - CS 1, 2..
Functionality is basically the same, while you get much RAM optimized performance.
