As the title says, I am strongly considering taking advantage of an LTD deal on Appsumo for this app but have never heard of it before nor used it so, before purchasing it, I would like to know if anyone here has any experience with it?

Yes!!

The deal seems pretty amazing and it even offers 3 seats for the lowest tier.

The comments and feedback on Appsumo are great but I prefer asking here.

Personally, a couple of the replies from the app mod/admin related to some results on testing Linguix vs Grammarly...

From August, 12th...

Recently we've launched benchmarking tests using a dataset containing 1515 sentences in English with both grammar mistakes and correct sentences respectively (several thousands of grammar mistakes to detect in total). When we compared performance based on single tokens ("words with mistakes"), Linguix found as many mistakes (1554) as Grammarly (1571). Speaking of the token spans (incorrect phrases), Linguix found 1275 mistakes, while Grammarly found 1361.

I think I will end up buying it myself and sell the other 2 seats to a couple of writers buddies, this looks like too good of a deal to turn down.

Overall, on a very first look - it's decent.
Caught a few things that Grammarly missed, and it seems to work a bit faster on typos, too.
On the other hand, it missed some of the errors that Grammarly caught.
It lacks the context Grammarly often have, offering many suggestions that make no sense:

It's not.

The product itself doesn't feel polished enough, and it doesn't have a plagiarism tool yet.

Is it worth $60? Hell yes.
Would I buy it if I already had Grammarly Premium? Nope.

I have a different experience.

I bought WordHero and was happy with the purchase but decided to request a refund to take advantage of the LTD of another AI-based writing assistant.

I also recently purchased an LTD for an all-in-one SEO tool and I must say thus far I like it a lot.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I feel like those who decided not to buy it made the right choice.
I bought it thinking it will improve over time, but the extension became so buggy that it's really hard to write anything when it's on. Their tooltip is also placed right where the new block icon is placed on WordPress, which shows me that they didn't really test it in the way their users might.
Together with the fact that Grammarly gives pretty much the same value with their free plan pushes me toward trying Grammarly premium more than anything else.
