When you make a wall post on your facebook page... does it appear on your fans walls or profiles?
and if NOT, How is a facebook page such an effective medium if it doesn't do so?

Yes it does it shows exactly what you put in the text box, nothing more.

When you post on your fanpage wall it will show on all of your fans homepages.

Hang on so does this then show on their freinds pages or the their friends have to manually navigate to the persons profile to see the post?

No, it does not show on their friends profiles. The friends will only see the post you made on the Fan Page if they become a fan of the page.

my god man, go and test it out. talk about lazy

lol, come on man. The whole point of a forum is to ask questions and to help others. You could say "go and test it out" to just about every other question, right? ;)

It shows up in the news feed of all fans. It doesn't go on their walls, that would be great though. The only thing that goes on their wall is So-and-So join this page. It's a fair question, but if you had a FB you would already know this. I recommend if you want to get into FB marketing that you should get a FB and get really used to it, otherwise you won't be successful.

So if wall posts shout up in the news feed, where does the fan status updates show?

I see a few updates from fans of my page showing up on my page's wall if that makes sense. Not sure if it's a status update relative to my page or not though.

I am still trying to figure out how the whole thing works myself.
