Buying backlinks/guest posts to rank. Does it work?

Plenty of sellers of backlink guest posts here on marketplace.
They have several websites with DA 50+.

These backlinks cost between $50 and $200.

I was wondering if anyone had any success in boosting their domain authority
by buying these guest posts submissions?

I'm talking about people that spent a considerable amount of money on these
and found them to actually be beneficial and not a scam...

DA isn't a valid metric to gauge authority in the first place
Some sites are used as link farms which diminishes the SEO effect over time

Backlinks work but there's a bit more to it than buy links and to the top you go. You need to do some research first and decide how you need to approach your link campaign.

Just like Hustle Tong said don't be fooled by DA or DR they can be inflated, I prefer looking at the traffic, traffic geo and the keywords the site is ranking for, and if the traffic is stable or on an upwards or downwards trend.

Yes, it works. It all depends on the sites' statistics and how the site is utilized for a post.

If there's no visitors aka less than 50k+ traffic to the site; the simple rule of thumb, do not use this site to link to a quality project

The better the 'avg user duration on site' and the lower the bounce rate of the avg visitors, the better it is for your site



If you buy cheap, you will get cheap results

absolutely buying backlinks work. You just need to get backlinks from sites that have a solid backlink profile. they need to be clean and having a real traffic is a plus. Get either guest posts or rent PBN links.

Of course, acquiring backlinks to your website increases its authority. Make sure the site has a clean backlink profile & has some organic traffic as said above.
