Do you submit sitemap after interlinking the posts?

Is there any other way to get posts crawelled again and get the interlinks taken into account?

I submit sitemap but google doesn’t update article. Don’t know why. It takes a lot of time to update the links of already published post.

I wait around 1-2 weeks to see the results of internal linking.

How do you know google crawled automatically or not?

You can request the indexing of the pages you updated through GSC, that's what I do in the interlink is important to me.

I see improvement after 1-2 weeks.

Also, I keep publishing posts 1-2 per week.

I never re-submit the sitemap after I do any interlinking or any other on site update. The thing is Google crawls my site very fast and regularly so I am never bothered about it.

As you already know, and I am sure that you know, one can submit the url for re-indexing in Google Search Console. I believe that will be the best option if you ever want Google to re-crawl your page.
