Hello all. I have multiple sites about a betting site. Domains include the betting site's name. KWD is very low like 1000 searches per month but i still can't get rank even in 3. page of Google. All my websites are hanging around at 8-9. page.
There is only 1 website at first page and it has very low quality content. Like 300-400 words... Mines are include at least 1500-2000 words. Also this website has only 5 pages and these pages have even less than 400 words. The other sites are just spam sites like .es .ru etc.

So, what did I do wrong?
I really like to do that but i guess i need some guidance...

I first have a couple questions I need to ask before I can help you.

- How old is your domain(s)?
- How long have you been building content?
- How long have you been building backlinks?
- What kind of backlinks are you building and how many?

Even if the first page of ranking websites for your keyword are poorly optimized websites, optimize yours even better.

Go to a high competition keyword and check out some authority websites & how they build content & backlinks. Model your backlinks and content after theirs.

Thank you for response.
Domains are like 3-4 months old by now. I have been building content from day 1 but there is not much content in it. Actually I'm focusing only 1 keyword. The main problem is language is Turkish and betting is not legal in Turkey so no one wants to give backlink to me. There is 0 backlink on my websites.
I know the basics of SEO like titles, meta tags, linking etc. but I believe there is something that I'm missing. It drives me crazy...

This is part of, if not, the reason why you're not ranking. Regardless of what you may read, backlinks are a necessity.

Think of backlinks like a vote, the more "good" votes you get for your keyword or keyword topic, the better Google views that as a reason to rank you.

On top of what I mentioned above, you need to make sure that your content is optimized as best as possible. Try this:

- Title & description optimized with your main keyword.
- URL structure.
- Alt tags/Meta tags
- Internal links (linking to other articles or content posted on your website within the new article/content).
- H2 & H3 need to be optimized for your keyword topic as well.
- Use your main keyword a couple more times throughout the paragraphs/body of overall text between headings. Google needs to know what you're targeting.
- Longer content (1.5k+ words) is easier to optimize for entire topics. How long you decide to make your content is up to you, but the longer the better. The more questions about the topic that your content answers, the better.

I have already read your guides. Also the part 1. :) But i really don't know how to gain backlinks. Should i crate them by myself? I have no time to create PBN websites, so is there any way to gain backlinks by myself without creating PBN's? If I buy them from BHW, will they work even if they are not Turkish?

It depends on what types of links you are considering buying in all honesty. Don't just go for the cheapest, check out the sellers.

Do you have any suggestions for that? I have never done it before.

I can't really as I am a service provider, so don't want to seem to be promoting my own service. Sorry.

Hope you have updated with unique and relevant articles, when you add links it has to be relevant and diversified to get more traffic. To improve natural traffic and rankings the content has to unique and should be relevant to the topic.

Articles are unique and relevant. They have written by myself.

Alright, keep track of your back links find out its all unique and relevant to your niche. If you add more links try to focus on guest post with high traffic that helps you get more organic results.

That happens, don't lose your spirit. Keep building quality links. Compare on-page factors and mobile friendliness with your competitors.

I think there is a technical issue with your site.

Just check your on-page SEO and fix it if there are some issues.

If all is good, then check the backlink history of your competitors.

It's interesting to notice that you said that your number one competitor has very low quality content.

But what I found most notable is how you define "low quality."

You seem to focus primarily on the number of words.

Please understand that depending on the search term, the fewer the words, the better.

Again, this depends on the specific search term that you are targeting.

At the end of the day, it's all about search intent.

You might want to do an audit of your competitor, where they are getting their backlinks, and look for parents there.

But if you're just going to define content quality based solely on word count, you may be mistaken.

Focus instead on how well their content delivers on the search intent behind the keywords that they are targeting.

Start there.
