No, they are not random numbers. They are NOT exact, but they are close to the real ones. I have experienced this with many of my channels and my friends channels.

There is a 5% to 10% variation between the actual earning and the earning that it shows.

One of my basic channel is earning $95/ month and social blade is showing it as $79.

It is clear that it gives a range of how much a channel is earning. So you can guess your competitors earning.

One of the competitor I checked is earning $2300 per month as per socialblade. Considering the variation, I understand that he is earning somewhere between 2200 to 2500. And I clearly know here that he is not earning $5000 for sure!

Hope you got my point.

They are very off when it comes to financial and business channels but for the average channels, they are almost right. I had a friend making like $15K/month in the business niche and Social blade was showing like $1000-$3000/month.

@Uncle Muriko Deleted member 1501362 @MasonF Thanks for your valuable thoughts.

@rajcomics From the above discussion it can be concluded that SocialBlade results vary from channel to channel depending upon the niche and tier. All in all you can just refer to it for small channels and not take seriously for larger ones.

Its not providing exact number but you can get a result with little different from exact number. But its differ for different niches.

can we trust its earning metrices?
from Google

If you are going on the social blade to look for the stats of a YouTuber then it’s 100% accurate and will tell you in detail stats about the YouTuber. But if you are going to check the YouTubers earnings then it’s somewhat 10% accurate. Why because it calculates the earnings on the basis of views a channel is getting but the reality is that not every time ads will run when a viewer is watching a video and not every channel is monetised.

And there’s also a thing which you also need to understand that is the earnings which are shown in the small YouTubers channel were mostly wrong but the earnings that it shows off big YouTubers it’s 80% accurate. Because big and well-known YouTubers are earning a good amount of money from youtube adsense.
