Of course he says a lot of useless things but it is also true that john muller is the only guy who is official representative from google ...

ALso, Maybe AI sites already getting penalized by algo automatically and we just don't know it YET... Its not like google announce or put sites on notice board after penalizing them and tell that "yeah this site using AI so Fail"...

I have read through thousands and thousands of articles written by AI and I can 100% tell it's a robot every single time.

Who knows maybe in the future it will adapt but right now it's so herky jerky and awkward that even Google knows and is claiming to be penalizing content that comes from AI writers.

So why do people continue to use these AI content builders?

Because people care more about ranking and don't consider user engagement a factor unless they have high bounce rate, low income despite rankings.
Google care less about content uniqueness then what it says, that's why decent/filler quality optimized content ranks well.

i personally know a guy (i have seen his website as well), he use quillbot (its not an AI, its passphrasing tool) for all of his articles and guess what, he got pretty huge boost in this update.. up to 500% traffic increase....
yours 0, maybe unlucky or google just randomly dropping websites from serp..

i personally use TextCortex AI... pretty good AI writer... another one is jasper Ai, quite popular ( but i personally dont like it considering its output is just literal scrap and then passphrasing it, reported that to jasper facebook group, they said it will be fixed in next update but it never got fixed. had to cancel my subscription.)....

If you let AI fully research and generate an article, it will be complete crap.

But there's a place for AI in content writing and that's in distilling large amounts of research into a more concise article that can then be edited by a human.

There are a few big content publishers that are doing this. One big one has people who take large amounts of research and information from 3rd party sources and then throws it into GPT3 and has it spit out a 1000 word article from it - that the editor then goes through and rewrites so that they can get an outline and cover just the key parts of the story.

AI is not in a stage where it can fully research and write a high quality article that people want to read.

I agree. Bad AI content is bad. Good AI content, however, is better than the majority of the stuff the content sellers produce.
It just comes down to whether or not you know how to produce good content with AI.
It's a tool, and not a complete replacement.

Just tell it to rewrite facts. It's not easy though.

You want a solution where you put 10 articles and you get one back based on those 10 articles and nothing more.

I just realized most of the people here doesn't know how to put quality prompt in an AI so it doesn't even fucking work and most of them doesn't even use GPT-3 and doesn't even put in the work to publish articles and fact check it.

In other countries, AI is been used to troll people and manipulate opinions in elections, people are dumb and AI is sentient, train your AI and also train your brain I made thousands using AI but the side effect was it made me dumber and reliant to tools.
