it is just an add-on.
so i suggest you break the url in few parts. and then run the rapid indexer.

Are you using the 'rapid indexer' addon? You only load the list within the addon, not in the main url area of scrapebox. Only use the addon.

Result? 6k Direct links, and 21k links to pages that don't exist, on my domain! (maybe you could setup your 404 page to 301 redirect to your homepage of the domain you use this on, thus redirecting all the link juice that is sent to non-existant pages on your domain, to your domain (what do you think?)) And so there you have it, 27k backlinks all ready for you to use. Here is the list for you to download, so you don't have to waste the time of finding it yourselves (its allot of bandwidth + time). I know I could have just shared the list, but I wanted everyone to understand how I got it. Anyways, here you go, enjoy:

I want to 301 redirect the error page on my website to my homepage. 404 error page (404.shtml) is located in the root directory of the website. I have already setup the redirection in .htaccess to the customized error page but what code do I have to input in the error page itself to successfully redirect it to the homepage?

Can you please provide me with the code?

Yeah I am using the rapid indexer it still freezes everytime. I guess I'll have to break it up.

so these links will not have anchored text correct? Cause I dont see anywhere in the rapid indexer to do that.

nice little guide, dont have SB only xrumer but plan on getting it sometime.

I've been running it for a bit now. I had to break them up into smaller parts as well when I would just try to load the file it would freeze.

This runs superfast in SB Rapid Indexer. Definitely break it up into portions...especially if you have a slower computer. This is a great addon for a very nice software!

Now that is something that actually worked well! That Statblaster hasn't shown any form or type of results (for me at least), but this was really well thought out and effective. Thanks so much for what you do and inspiring us to keep pushing to get more creative too!

GUIDE TO GET 27K BACKLINKS USING SCRAPEBOX WITHOUT COMMENTING

Hey guys ok so, I want to share with you what I found using scrapebox, as well as explain exactly how I found it, so hopefully you can understand and do something like this yourself next time. I will explain to you exactly how I created the list, and provide the download link at the bottom of this post. So lets begin! What I will show you will essentially be a guide how to find backlinks from sites that dynamically generate links when your domain is in the url. A genre of these are statistics sites. The only tool I used for this is scrapebox

Intro: I stumbled upon a statistics site. So I used scrapebox, with a custom footprint of "site:statisticsite.com/stats/". This scraped 1000 pages that were indexed at that site. I then used scrapebox's PR checker, to find the most popular pages' domains. Here is what that came up with:
Code:
7sur7.be
adobe.com
alistapart.com
apple.com
avaxhome.ws
cnet.net
drudgereport.com
ffffound.com
filehippo.com
flickr.com
friendster.com
gigazine.net
... (many more)
I now had a list of popular pages. And so I went on to the next step.

Step1: Using scrapebox, I harvested all the results for the following footprint: "-site:7sur7.be inurl:7sur7.be", for every single one of the sites above. This resulted in over 120 K URLS.

Step2: I replaced all instances of each of the top domains with "testdomain.com", so I changed 7sur7.be->testdomain.com, adobe.com->testdomain.com, ...

Step3: I put all these new URLs into scrapebox, and removed duplicates. I was left with aroun 100K. I then ran the 'alive checker', which left about 80K URL's.

Step4: I took this list, and ran scrapebox's linkchecker for links to 'testdomain.com' on each of these pages. That took a while, and eventually I was left with 27k URL's.

Step5: I then saved this list of URL's, and replaced 'testdomain.com' with '{website}', and saved it!

Step6: Now I created links to my domain using scrapebox's "rapid indexer" and this list (which automatically pings these sites for you)

**I know that most of these are from groups of similar IP's, just look through the list if it is good for you

EDIT: Some of you had said that the list is long. If you want to 'split it' into smaller chunks (i.e 500 line parts, do 500 backlinks a day) I recommend this tool:

I ran the list through alive checker, and about 65% of the URLs are dead. but 35% still makes a pretty good list :) Thanks!

BTW do you use proxies for the rapid indexer addon?

I already filtered them all, they are all working. Just try batch replacing "{website}" with "yourdomain.com", and run a link check. They will all be there!

how to separate the working and non working ones from that list???

Did you run the list as is? You have to replace "{website}" with "yourdomain.com", then try running a alive check. Without switching that, you are sending "{website}" as a GET variable, and that is not what those scripts are expecting so the pages might not be 'alive'. And try running the alive check twice, the second time, the websites will have finished making those pages for you.

I am a scrapebox newbie... So in order to check the websites in alive checker, you need to edit the file and replace {website} with your own URL...
But in order to use the list in rapid indexer, you leave it as it is, or do you need to edit the list too?

NEW DL LINK 6k urls added

Sorry, the mediafire dl was being stupid. Here is new download link- now added to original post by godmonkee:
Code:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=8c152c15cd802cc87f7ec40ada4772a6915f53a197fedde961390143435ec59c
OK- changes:
-now there are two files,
5k backlinks (use this for complex urls, such as "mydomain.com/page2.php?value=1893")
33k backlinks (use this for homepage/ subdomain urls only, such as "mydomain.com" or "subdomain.mydomain.com")

The second files has all the links, and the 5k backlink file is just a filtered result, of which ones work with 'complex urls'

Thanks godmonkee for editing OP for me :)

Thats right, you are 100% correct!
