Using bluetooth msg to promote your site?

ok guys this is a method i thought of the other night while watching a concert .... its only an idea and needs imput to perfect

ok here goes the idea

while i was at a arctic monkeys concert of 35000 people i thought of this method


if i was able to sit outside the exit or even gain access with a laptop i would be able to send out non stop bluetooth msg to every phone i could connect to letting them know that a downloadable version of this concert will be available by lets say 2pm the next day (of course this is BS as i dont have it recorded but who cares this is BH right?) then give them an address to a download page that you have blocked with cp@ Le@d or something of the same idea.

i think this would work if you set your bluetooth to be named for eg "Arctic monkeys team code 0000" as you will need to give em access code to accept msg etc

also would defo work with flyers buit this would be a stronger aproach but will cost youy a bit in outlaying for flyers

i think you would/could make serious bank from this idea, and get to see some cool bands while you were at it

It is possible and seems like a good idea. But you would earn a lot more with bluejacking (But it is illegal).

Basically you hack into a other phone via bluetooth and send a text message or call froom the hijacked phone to your premium service.

This is a good idea. So many ways to make money off this concept but I'm not sure what software allows you to do this? Anyone know which software on a PDA or laptop can do this sort of thing?

after looking into this i have decided the best way would be flyers at A6 size just saying a generic
DOWNLOAD THE WHOLE SETLIST OF TONIGHTS AVENT AT WWW:MYSITE.COM

when they get there there will be a list of "gigs" with latest at the top (this is so you can still cash in on latecomers/googlers and when they click dload link its gunna be gateway protected

i am guessing if you give out 10,000 flyers to people leaving a gig but buzzing at the fact they really had a good night a minimum of 1000 people will try to get the download

ok you will give em a download of a older concert but i guess most people will just think you have made an upload error and seeing as it cost em nothing but 5 mins time doing a signup/survey they wont be too miffed about not getting the file they were after

so if u get them on with a Ticketmaster cookie... that would make u money when they buy other tickets too.

if they have already seen the concert why the fuck would they wanna download it again! thats just plain stupid... try selling them some other concert direct or indirect!

your obviously not a concert goer,

I wish I could have every concert I go to on dvd, for memories if nothing else.

After all, a lot of people that go to concerts (particularly rock) are usually drunk/under the influence of drugs etc and wanna see the show again later.

OP great idea, let me know how you go, but its going to look like your a terrorist, what would you do to get past security.

You have a laptop out the front of an arena, and your sending messages, lol sounds a bit sus to people who wouldnt know what your doing
