Does buying views/likes help boost videos for the algorithm?

Buying views could surely destroy your YouTube channel and YouTube account, as almost all smm providers use bots. However, you or anyone can surely try it and see if it goes good or otherwise. YouTube algorithms are beefed up nowadays, better to go organic.

I don't think this will work in 2022. In 2012, probably yes but those days are long gone. The algos of these big whales are only getting smarter. The only reason to invest in smm panels right now is if you want to fake it or if you want the numbers for social proof.

Thanks, have a previous channel that got shadow banned (went from getting around 20k views a day to 15 views per day overnight) do you think youtube will figure out if create a new gmail & yt acc but on the same ip and pc (different verification phone number though) m

Very risky as a practice, I wouldn't do it on a monetized channel.

Cheap views will only hurt your video ranking but if your provider can provide engagement along with the views that will help in boosting

Agreeing with what others are saying here, you very likely won't get a full ban but you risk having to deal with bad luck in the YT algorithm for a long time. Also note that a lot of SMM panel services' names for YT views don't mean anything, you can buy "SUPER HIGH RETENTION" and they might all drop in a day, or you might buy one with an unexciting name and they are good. I'd also suggest staying away from "real active views" as despite sounding the best these are some of the worst quality views
