No.i don't believe you can get sucess from them. to learn a thing or two to improve yourself yes. but getting you sucess ? far from it.
everyone is different, with diff circumstance, moral value, skill, needs etc. mean the requirement for sucess vary heavily between individual.

I don't believe in paid coaching. As @Elvlin said, everyone has different characteristics, and achieving success is not one size-fit all thing. You might get some motivation from people like Tony Robbins to work hard for like a month but that alone is not enough. In order to achieve success, you need to be disciplined as well.

I agree, listening to them is like drinking coffee, you get a short burst of energy then it slowly fades away.

Coaching in itself is not wrong but it is now looked down upon because of fake coaches. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

I do agree the vast majority of coaches are in it for the scam.

However, there are a few who have more to offer than meets the eye.
I'm particularly talking about Tony Robbins.

He's not been around since yesterday. He started making a fuss back in the '90s. His mentos was Jim Rohn.

It might seem fluff, what they are talking about.
But you have to realize, that 90% of their "clients", or audience, had no idea about some techniques they present.

There was a big study done about how power poses raise testosterone on the spot.
I missed the news about that one.

But then I heard Tony Robbins talk about it. They also explain why, and how it helps you.

In disbelief, 8 years ago I started learning some of Tony Robbins techniques.
In particular, I'm talking about developing rapport with someone else. I'm sure a lot of people before Tony Robbins debated this, but I've heard it from him.

It was a life changer. It took me 4 months to get the hang of it, and I'm still perfecting it to this day.
But I can now make 8 out of 10 people like me just by developing rapport with them, even virtually.

I've done it on the streets, in parks, in bars.
I swear people would just come right to you feeling like they know you their entire life. It's crazy.

But my point is, I've learned it from his books.

For someone who is stuck, even if it's paid, a coach or dare I share a well-chosen mentor of the likes of Tony Robbins, or Simon Sinek, I can easily see the benefits.

I can go on and on about Simon Sinek, too.
I had the pleasure to work on a small contract for a company whose CEOs were coached by Simon. The company did greater every quarter of the year.

In regards to why are they still doing it/selling it if they already have the key, I actually checked this up.
Most of the good ones have wealth of over $100mil. This is their work, their life. This is what they are good at, to make people excel. Why does Elon Musk keep working? For the same reason.

Make no confusion, I also have the opinion that most coaches who start right up selling their $1,000 course are pure crap.
Most of the good ones usually start off by making an image first, free of charge, and then let the people come to them.

It makes so much sense even today.
If I would have a company, and had some money to spend on investments, I would surely dedicate 10% to having this guy give me some pointers.

Damn, this turned out to be a long reply...
But yes, I can attest that coaches are worth the money if you choose right.
