Hey all. So I’ve written a lot of articles and books. And some of my article content is now being referenced in a list of references on a lot of websites such as Forbes and other websites. You only give the proper reference of what it is. However I would like a link back to my website for you no back link to help me get neo generated hire. Any suggestions on what I should do? I sent an email to the author on Forbes to reference me and said hey I know she mentioned my article that you listed as a reference would you mind giving me a back link to my website?

I don't know why Forbes would steal your content given how poorly written it is.

Regardless, give them a deadline to link back to you or sue them if you have the time and money to battle them. They're rich anyway so you'll probably make good coin off them if you can prove that they've stolen your content.

They didn’t steal. I have published articles and scientific articles. You always list references. My stuff is listed in their references which shows my article has impact. I’d just like to build my website back links up.

oh, ok! Sorry for misreading then (English is not my main language so I do misunderstand stuff occasionally)

But you said that you already contacted them asking for a backlink, and if the relationship between you and Forbes is good they should have no problem giving you the backlink, so what's the question then? 'Cause you already did what you needed to do :)

Whatever works for forbes. They know the little guy can't do jack crap in case they steal their content :D
while I do agree with your point, OP cleared my misunderstanding already

they didnt respond unfortunately.

they dont technically have to give me a backlink since they cited the article properly.

I bet they won't link as it's cited. And they don't care anyway.
