That is the toughest niche to crack on Quora. They collapse answers with affiliate links in that niche very fast.

But so is the money $$$. Nothing wrong with trying

Nope.
The thing with Quora is that a lot of people also follow the questions and when a new answer is posted Quora send emails and notifications to all of those following that question and then sends an influx of people to the new answer.

And when the answer is written is good, people upvote it + also share it, and that's how the new answer gain rankings.

Yes, and do let me know how it went. I have been off from Quora for a few years now, but it seems like this still works.

I could be wrong but I think Quora limits how many people can see your footnote if there is a link in it. They don't get rid of it , though, because it makes people work to create content for them.
