I notice very often on Instagram tons of ads promoting playlists from Spotify looking for people to follow their playlist, does that even generate money or just a hobbie?

Actually, I'm not familiar with this but if people are spending money promoting them then they are probably making some money out of it.

this is play listing business model. ıf someone wanna in these playlist they need to pay Monet to playlist owner. in this way they get branded in playlist.
