Scrapebox Meta Scraper not working?

Anyone having issues with Scrapebox Meta Scraper. I have emailed support multiple times and they still have not responded.

For example, I will try this query "how to fish" inurl:links.html or similar queries and it does not work. I will set results to 50 or 100, but it return like 3,4, or 5 results.

So the meta scraper doesn't use queries, your talking about the google or bing meta scraper addons?

Google Meta Scraper. It works when using general queries such as dog training guides. But the queries above do not work.

I am using the latest version of Scrapebox as well.

Please try updating to the latest version of the Google Meta Scraper addon, and hopefully it's working for you also.

Now it's working. I just deleted the copy I had. I re-downloaded it, and now it's working.

I have a similar issue with the Google Meta scrapper and I hope you can help.
The difference with me is that I don't get any results. Whenever I click on Start - it just loads for a few seconds and then returns no results and the "start" button becomes available again.

I tried using:
- different user agents
- google passed proxies
- no proxies
- reducing to 1-5 results
- reinstalling the addon

But still no success.
The proxies and the software look to be working fine as I tried the keywords harvesting feature and it's working ok. Just the Meta Scraper addon that is not giving any results so far.

well the sort answer is that either google is returning no results, or security software is blocking it.

If you go to your scrapebox\addons\google meta scraper folder

there should be an error.log file

open it in notepad. You may need to close down the addon before its generated or updated.

What are the errors?

Also whitelist the entire scrapebox folder in all security software.

that suggests that something is messing with the requests, because we are talking about google here nad google is not returningg invalid or unrecognized responses or bad requests and srapebox does not generate bad requests.

So something between scrapebox and google is messing with the requests. This could be security, something else 3rd party on your machine, your router, the proxy etc..

However I can't say what.

That said you could do some process of elimination stuff, like if you can try a mobile dongle or friends network, that eliminates your network and router.

Yep, I guess it's the proxy, because I tried the Bing scrapping and it works just fine.
