Pros of amazon associates:
High conversion rate
A lot of coverage of product

Cons:
The commission rate sucks
Many brands are removing their product from the Amazon marketplace
Their commission rate can change any day

What do you guys think?

The commissions in the european countries are still quite good tho.
+ Asian markets like India.
The competition is also quite low compared to the US

I like it. I just wish they paid more than once per month.

A lot of good alternatives out there
I'll only choose amazon associates as the last resort

It's good for what it is depending on your niche.

Direct deals with manufacturers is better per commission %, but the Azon advantage is if your niche is baby clothes and a buyer then buys a weeks groceries and a new TV you earn on those too.

But hasn't it declined because people now have Prime and they order a very low amount of products/orders?

You probably need 10-15 different sites in different niches to make a substantial amount.

it is something that will take time and patience to really get going but once you do it becomes passive.

The one tricky part is keeping up with Amazons ever changing rules, rates, and products.

One awesome part is Amazon has customers all around the globe so it’s easy to find things to sell all year around.

I have zero idea what this is meant to mean?

Pros: Has helped me quit my day job so I'll be forever grateful.
Cons: None whatsoever.

Even with commission cuts, it's a superb way of make money.

I don't understand all the negativetity.
But aren’t all the niches are too much saturated?
One more thing, BigG has started fucking affiliate sites since its last update.

For me, Amazon Associates has worked better than Google Adsense.

I will not become judgmental here though because the experience can vary from person to person and niche to niche.

I prefer to sell digital products instead .Why to go for 5% comision when i can go with at least 50% commision

Just need to make sure you don't break any ToS but besides that I like it, easy to setup and monetize

Why? Because I don't have to worry about Amazon skimming my commissions, like how many of these other folks do.

I'm making enough to supplement my other income. I just wish the payments were more frequent than 1 month at a time.

You just need to make sure you don't get CAUGHT breaking any ToS, AND can't talk them out of banning you with some other excuse or explanation.
