I have come to realize that most new Clickbank products fail big time. In one month for example, 800 products will be realeased yet only 5 of these will make sales.

Just food for thought.....

Yep thats true... probably because most of the stuff on clickbank is low quality with rubbish sales pages.

Yes, and so many noobs release products thinking that they will become millionaires overnight.

That's definitely true. If someone actually posted something of good quality on there, at least in the niche that i work, it'd get picked up so fast and sales would result - depending on how bad the actual sales page is of course. We are constantly trying to find decent quality products to affiliate with and it's really hard going - i think over one year and testing some 100+ products we come up with 1 or maybe 2 recommendations that we can honestly offer to our clients which is actually any good.

Agree.
Great exceptions to this pattern were products like
Burn The Fat by Tom Venuto and &
Affiliate Project X by Chris Cobb tough...

Each CB product as a rating to show how its doing for sales in the last 30 days, definitely check this out before deciding to promote a product or not

Much like most small businesses, no? Many people start a business without the proper planning.

That is exactly what is causing it.

Adding a members only forum is the way to go. Offering later access to special areas for a fee will create recurring income for clickbank promoters :) this can help to increase sales in the marketers side, also getting some JV before you eve launch online will help by creating awareness and buzz. old story but worth mention it here so we can make this thread a little more constructive for everyone

It probably doesn't help that 90% of the products on Clickbank are just shitty rehashed versions of other products.

My point of view is that almost every new CB vendor just rely on the CB market place. Meaning they think that hordes of affiliates will find their product and then promoting it like crazy.

The right way to go would be for instance...

1. Submitting your affiliate program to as many affiliate directories as possible to get the word out.

2. Actively seeking new affiliates/JV partners.

3. Instead of promoting your sales page, start HEAVILY promoting your affiliate sign-up page, using ALL the weapons you have (backlinks, article marketing, forum/blog posts, etc.)

This summarized all why most of clickbank product failed. I went over like 20 pages of product in 1 category while researching my niche but I gotta say all the products, with less than 10 gravity, have such a garbage sales pages. Texts after texts and no videos or screenshot lol

i compiled together some data on cb products a few months ago.
here's what i got:

there are about 12,000 total products.

number of products within certain gravity ranges:

gravity over 100 (very popular) - 56 products (0.5%)
gravity 60-100 (popular) - 80 products (0.7%)
gravity 30-60 (meh) - 98 products (0.8%)
gravity 10-30 (unpopular) - 456 products (4%)
gravity 0-10 (awful) - 11,310 products (94%)

so yea, almost all cb products suck.

anyone know someone who is top notch in salespage creating?

What about Fat Loss for idiots and 6 pak abs? Both of these guys become millionaires out of it including Clickcrap who continue to profit heavily.

i debating using cb when trialpay would offer a great deal for many surfers.. thoughts/

My first hand experience of this with my unique unique massive niche ebook tells me in my misery I know what your talking about!
