EU fascists just passed a law requiring large affiliate programs to require a scan of ID to KYC. I have just received email from awempire to do so. Crakrevenue requires the same. What a stupid idea. To get a payment you already have KYC made on banks or other payment methods like paypal, paxum. It's all about control you and take your privacy piece by piece.
Also, I am officially announcing here on BHW that I am ending my cooperation with any affiliate program that requires me to send my ID or any other documents. I hope that this dumb law will not come into effect in the US as well.

maybe it is their way of fighting fraud

I know Crakrevenue is asking for KYC, however i got paid last month without doing it.

Well up to you, if it's proven that this direction stifles business then they'll change it. Otherwise, everyone who follows the rules will be able to make money in programs that you won't have access to by choice. Worst case, they all implement this check worldwide in all countries by law! What are you gonna do then? As it's probably coming.

are you serious? I wonder what you will do when your identity information is sold on the internet?
We want it or not, the time without privacy will come, this tech is upgrading day by day and everything becomes public, There will be a days where IDs,Driving Licences, Cash, and stuff like that won't exist, just a fingerprint of you will tell everything about you.

we will be dead by then.

there is nothing wrong with kyc if you are genuine promoter
You already have KYC done in order to get payment from these affiliate programs (paypal, banks, skrill, paxum etc) . Really nothing wrong when website will be hacked and you ID scan become public on web? Don't you worry to send your sensitive documents everywhere in the net?

most of company delete id from their server after verfication.

the problem is when reading such discussions you don't come across some impressive ideas or sophisticated opinions but it's same posts you would see 10 years ago.so it doesn't add real knowledge to community .

the kyc demands is evolving rapidly now in low position industries . if you don't perceive that earlier and cant see this coming there will be few more surprises in future .

Crakrevenue:

Headquarters - Sarasota, Florida, United States
Headquarters - Québec, QC, CA

That will create identity theft if servers get hacked. This is a way for governments to know what your sources of income are this is not anti money laundering its all about spying on you online.Digital ID's are rolling out so they track everything you are doing online.

Stealth is a possible solution.

Yes, and what's the point of rhis dumb law when many people will go stealth mode anyway.

Manay many fakes coming soon. Many revenue loss, many more justifications for shaving affiliate earnings are all the BS I see in this law. Lol

No privacy.

Google ads wants your name on ads. Affiliate networks introduce kyc. Next is to write down your name on each peace of content you publish.

No more shady aff promotions. No more fake accs.
