I hate to burst your bubble, but anything legitimate with that kind of RD and DR is NEVER going to be available for 20 dollars. The way it works is that domains go through a deletion phase from where they either go to an auction or are purchased through drop catch. No one in their right mind is going to overlook a domain with those statistics. What happened here was as soon as a potential buyer vetted the domain they knew it was trash and they moved on. This is very common, you did not hit the jackpot.

The DR is high because of the incoming links DR which are all spam. The RD is high because the previous owner spammed it to death. You plugged it into a tool and made a purchase based on metrics. Metrics are only a point of reference if they are organic. Nothing about this domain is organic. I have never seen a legitimate domain with 6000 RD which are all do-follow. That alone tells me this is trash. Anything legitimate like that is going to have domainers descending on it like vultures.

I think you have a long way to go. You need to educate yourself before spending money otherwise your SEO journey will end before you even get started.

Did you check that domain through wayback machine ?
The domain looks like trash the previous domain owners spammed it to death.
how a domain can be spammed with this amount of backlink ? i guess softwares like gsa can not even do this

You can buy these links easy on Fiverr. It won't give any seo benefits but a penalty from Google @DeadJoe is speaking reality. In SEO you get what you pay for.

Don't waste your time creating content for this, maybe you can sell the domain for 5 dollars to some random pakistani from Fiverr and recover part of the loss

That is a lot of backlinks, Are they spam links maybe this was a quick earner domain. at one time ?

You could try redirecting that to a site that redirects to your domain

Domain 1
^ Tier 2 Domain
^ Tier 3 Domain (this one you bought)

Dont point it at your money site directly. Going to be a nuclear waste bomb likely. Even what I'm suggesting might not work; but I'd love to see if it does

I've seen this type of strategy help some sites before

I bet everyone here has done this before.
Just forget about that domain, it is probably some trash like dfs4d5d7.com and will only attract very low quality traffic, if there is any traffic to be attracted by that spammy sewer-domain.

But wouldnt all those backlinks generate some traffic?
Not necessarily. You can have 80 million shitty comment backlinks. Worst still is if each backlink/comment is buried within some other 600+ comments. How will people find it? People don't go look for spam to click. :smirk:

It's a good experiment :)

For the 17 Euros you paid for it you'll learn more than 170 Euros on random courses

Do what the others are saying and throw a super simple HTML template up or WordPress install and try to rank for some totally unique and totally random keyword - a jumble of words and see if it indexes

Alternatively, do site:domain name dot com and see if any pages are indeed indexed

Either ways, interesting thing to have done and to have learned from

For fun and a gxxgle test a few years ago, I experimented with buying a bunch (~20) of those dropped PBN or spam orphans previously used for ED pill sales with tons of links. One even was an unrelated forum domain that was churned and burned by chinese casinos with a few existing strong and decent backlinks still existing from the legit forum. I knew it wasn't going to last but wanted to see what would happen if all the pennies from clicks added up to more than what I paid for the spam orphans. Some I 301'ed only to one site. But factoring in my time being dumped logging in, changing all their nameservers, creating H1 tags and other misc stuff to populate those tubes (the host provided and populated adult content) it was a complete joke, but it worked for a few weeks with lots of clicks (surprise to whoever arrived looking for ED pills) and traffic. Each domain cost $9 reg fee and I grossed like $350. I let them all expire after the year. So there you go, do the same with that one domain and maybe you can make your 17 Euros back.

Try to Add GSC and See if Any manual action or penalty is there ? if not then write a article and try to get it index
Websites rarely get manual penalty or actions. That will be huge drain of resources. Most of the time its algo update and thats the end of spam site.
Plugin it into semrush and check the traffic graph. Semrush overlays it with google algo updates.

I'll start a new search engine. Whoever has the most backlinks ranks best. Simple stuff. Will beat google in no time
