Hey guys. I want to start an e-commerce website. I also want to do blogging for it and target those "buy ..." or "how to buy..." long tail-low competition keywords in my blog.

My question is, when people search those keywords, my blog section will come up; however, my shop is on another page. How is this beneficial in terms of sales?
Top sites in this niche don't have a blog, and their shop page comes up when someone searches those keywords.

Look for informative content that relates to your product. Then you can link to your product pages from the informative content - near the top so they’re likely to get clicked.

benefit is two-fold- firstly you get some targeted visitors to your product pages and second, you get backlinks from pages with high organic traffic (your information pages, hopefully).

Look up some of the keywords and see who is ranking top for them- also, look at those top ranking informational pages (assuming they exist of course) and check what other keywords the exact pages are ranking for and how much organic traffic the pages get in total. I’ve seen informative content in e-commerce niches where a single blog post is ranking for 5k+ organic keywords and receiving 10k+ visitors.

They’re the ones you want to look for, in my opinion.

Ps- when I’m talking about tanning data, I am thinking specifically about ahrefs and the data you can gain from that tool, which is invaluable in my opinion.

a word of advice: do not create multiple blog posts about the same thing. for example: "best red apple" and "delicious red apple", should be included in the same blog post and not 2 different blog post.

in short: do not create competing blog posts.

very good advice but my whole website is around one product. for example " Red apple 22" , "1 Kilo Red apple 22" , "2 kilo red apple 22" and etc. Is this still include me?

i would include the 3 phrases you mentioned in a single post

however, i would treat the following, in separate blog posts. these serve different user intention.
  • what is red apple?
  • benefits of red apple?
  • how to make red apple pie
  • where to buy red apple
we could argue that intention of "What" and "benefit" can be included in the same blog post. you need to research and see how the competitors have done it.

Thank you, brother, very awesome points. I started a journey. I appreciate it if you follow it
