So What car would you Buy?

In the past few months I have contemplated the possibility of buying a new vehicle this summer. Well I say new, but I always buy them maybe a year old to avoid some of the depreciation.

So my question for everyone is, what would you buy if you decided on a budget of say $70k? A couple of my top choices are the BMW M6 and then the gas guzzling Hummer H2 SUT. Of course you can pick up a new H2 now for less than $50k, and for the BMW M6 I have seen plenty of 2006 and several 2007s in that price range.

So lets hear it. What would you buy?

I'll be the first to respond here. You know you're going to get a ton of response too since it's something we all know a little about.

Hummers blow.. don't get one unless you can get the orig hum vee... H2s are more than gay.

BMWs are always nice, but a bit sterile in taste. All German cars are nice, just a tad sterile.

I'm a motorcycle person myself, no where else can you spend $12k and get a machine that outperforms million dollar vehicles with ease, but they are not for everybody.

I would throw a down payment on a really dope house, and just drive an accord. In 20 years, you'll be happy with your decision.

The house part is already wrapped up. I have one and and am building a second one. And no down payment needed. Real estate investments from years ago paid for the houses. And I already have 1000 acres of property as well, so not really in that market either.

Now, back to the subject.....I have had 2 bikes already, a Honda CBR f4 a and a Honda CBR 1000RR. So kinda got that out of my system.

If you ever considered a Hummer over a BMW I would never talk to you again.

There are only three good hummers in this world. The thing a girl gives you, the ones the military uses and the drink.

The new hummers are horribly retarded.

Personally I'd probably get an M3, but with gas prices... get a scooter.

I love how everyone is trashing my H2, I bought the wife a 7 series BMW and that thing is pretty slick however I'm a six speed manual type guy as its more fun to drive.

I had an M5 a couple years ago and that car was sweet as hell. I still have the A6 I bought the wife a few years prior and that car is a real fun drive with the 6 speed and twin turbos.

This summer im debating though, I want to dump the H2 and get something fast, Id really like the R8 but 170k for anything without a bedroom is pretty crazy.

Depending on what your using the car for, family? I would get the m6 either way.. I really dislike them..

I just bought a '08 Camry Hybrid that I really like, but one of my employees just tossed down a little over $60K on an '08 Lexus GS450 Hybrid with a ton of options. It's a phenomenal car. It doesn't get anywhere near as good gas mileage as my Camry, but it still comes in at around 30MPG if driven the right way.

Get an M6 dood. 70k less than the R8 and its pretty crazy fast too.

Not to mention the looks, damn nice.

Or an RS6, crazy fast good looking car.
