First of all I will publish the articles on subreddits, and then people will search for that article on google and then they will click the reddit post which is mine, and then they will click the link of the article on reddit. do you think i will see a result if i publish 3000 articles on subreddits? all my intention is to get traffic from google search, firstly they will click reddit, and then from reddit they will click my website. has anyone ever done something like this and get a result?

should i start it or would it be a waste of time? what do you think

Yes, you should start it. Even if you don't get good results, you will learn a lot from it. It's a good idea, in theory, so you must test your theory. Even if someone else did it 6 months ago with no results, your articles might be picked up differently by Google, or Google may change the way they index things.

With thousands of articles, you should get a few clicks directly from reddit users. If you pick good subreddits, you could get a LOT of clicks, and maybe some shares and comments which will help get you traffic and improve your Google rank. You will want to drip-feed the articles slowly over weeks to not have your domain blacklisted by reddit.

Always be testing and studying.

im also doing this on my niche sites. i created 1 subreddit for each niche then post the articles in reddit once i publish it on my site. google is indexing the reddit link easily. not much members on the group, but im hoping just to get link from reddit on all my posts.

Quora articles are more ranked in Google, rather than Reddit articles.

They want to share a link to the article hosted on their website, not write a full article with a link in it. If they were writing a full article, I would agree that Quora can be powerful, but for just sharing links, reddit is much better.

Just a thought: an alternative to consider is to find reddit posts that rank for your keywords (use Ahrefs to find posts that rank and/or have lots of traffic), then post a comment and buy upvotes to get your comment to the top. It doesn't work with old posts but it can work with newer posts. No need to even try to rank Reddit posts because you're using posts that are already ranking.

I also thought about that but the thing is mods always remove the posts so buying upvotes is easy but then my money will be wasted when the mods remove my posts.. that's the problem. and also it's so hard to post a link on subreddits that have more than 15 thousand members.

I thought about this back in the day, but whenever I found relevant threads on google that I wanted to post comments on, they were always locked because they were old. How do you guys get past this? do you find whatever threads on reddit or ones that are already ranking on Google? Personally, I am now too lazy to do this lol, but back in the day when I was new to IM it was a different story :)

But the question here is whether Google was able to rank those Reddit posts?

Yeah, that's why I value more the full article method.

Did you guys try the same with Linkedin? what's your thought on Google ranking Linkedin posts?

Many shady sites promote their websites this way. So you should just do it

And cross-post what you can to get get people to join the reddit and create organic activity

Do you think that reddit is the best overall site for this? Not just between Reddit and quora but all social?

In my experience, Reddit is the best for just sharing of links to your articles. Very easy to automate, direct backlink (not a redirect), you can even automate the submission of posts from other websites on your account to make everything seem more natural.

this is probably one of the best answers honestly. :D you need to try it because it might work for you.

I just thought of this now, it's just an Idea though...

instead of linking direct links to outside websites in a reddit coment, what if you just use the "r/YourSpecificWebsiteSubredditHere" in a comment? o_O that has auto links internally from reddit.

or post a (SUBREDDIT) post link in a comment, unless of course the subreddit where you'll put it disallows brigading, or sharing from other subs.

what do you guys think? :anyway:
