hello guys,

I want to talk to you guys today about my experience because i am lost a little, I have been working, generating a huge traffic app installs for my apps like more than +10K installs per day (i can generate more than that number) and making money from admob, but this two last year it becomes a little bit difficult cause of (admob limited ads). i want you guys to give some solution what i can do with this traffic installs, i have been thinking about IAP ( in app purchase ) but i did not test it yet. i hope you guys can give me some ideas. thank you!

I've just started in the niche, therefore, don't have much experiences, but read good things about chartboost, have you tried them before ?

Hey mate,
This is a good question. You also declared some ways that you were getting 10k+ day installs. Can you also share some more info on that? I would really appreciate it.

I have used IAPs for a couple of years, and never used ads in app.

The key to a well placed IAP is to get the user when they are most at the point where their emotional pain / satisfaction level wants to be met, and they are willing to pay. I'm sure there are articles about this topic.

When are they most excited, when are they likely to about to be most satisfied? It's a psychology question. And the best way to answer this question is to observe a user (in person, in real life I mean), and tell them to tell you what they are feeling/thinking about at this point in the app interaction. This is an incredible way to find out exactly the customer journey as it unfolds in real time.

What I did, regarding the location of the IAP, was allow a user to get a really good experience in the app. My app is for productivity , and I need to allow users to embed themselves , before getting to a sales point. So they could use 3 contacts as categories, but when they try to get to that 4th contact the IAP will pop up. They want to organise their lives better? They have seen how much time and effort they can save by using the app, do they still want to have that experience? If Yes, then buy.

I imagine this example will be somewhat different for a game app or many other types of app ,but the principles will be the same.

One more thing, use a funnel.

Make them an offer they can't reject and if they reject it make then a better offer :)

Then play with the logic - offer something else to buyers with less ads.

They run out of coins or lives? Offer them a bundle. They buy - offer them a bugger bundle next time. They don't buy? Offer them a smaller and cheaper bundle next time.

On exit game button show a pop up with a free bundle if they play more. But make it somehow smart enough so they will not click exit to get the gift and continue playing.

Set events and track their activities.
