From a buyer's perspective, this is an amazing deal, but you can't be short-sighted.
You have to understand that even though you're just paying $40 for something that a lot of people would pay $120 a month after month for, you have to think about sustainability.
If, for instance, the total market for this type of product is 10,000 people and they're able to get all those people to sign up for a lifetime membership, where is the incentive for them to update the product?
Sure, they can keep the product up but what about updating its database?
What about streamlining its features?
Unfortunately, given such a low lifetime price of $40, I'm really struggling to figure out what the incentive is for the company behind Uber Suggest.
To continue supporting their product, you have to understand that support and product development cost money.
The SEO landscape changes rapidly and it costs rapidly.
I'm not even talking about year-to-year changes.
In some cases, depending on how big Google's updates can be, it might involve quarterly updates.
At a certain stage, there is going to be a point of diminishing returns as far as the developers go.
Just keep this in mind when you're considering products that have a lifetime price.
This doesn't just apply to Uber Suggest, this also applies to a wide range of awesome marketer products that have a one-time lifetime price.
