Im unable to login to twitch on an old version of Firefox. Version 55.
What happens is i try to login, i get to the page where they want the code you receive in your email, and when i input the code Twitch just reloads a few times and im back where i started, not logged in.
While the page is refreshing, its like the first refresh displays the icon in the upper-right corner of the screen as if im logged in, but then the next refresh takes it away. It all happens fast.
I tried changing my user agent to mobile, but then i cant even login on the mobile version of Twitch because theres no login button.
I tried changing user agent to the latest version of chrome, but the same problem as i described above.
Tried clearing cookies and cache. Tried disabling all extensions. Tried using private browsing/mode/window. Same problem.
I tried logging out of my twitch account and logging in on my main Firefox browser which is a few versions old, and it logged in fine.
I tried creating a new twitch account, and it worked. But when it got to the last step it just got stuck on loading and loading. But i received the email to verify my new account and everything. The acccount got created successfully.
At this point i could say okay, twitch not working on this old version of Firefox anymore. However i have a number of browsers which are logged into twitch, and twitch works fine there. So what, theyll stay logged in until some cookie expires or whatever, and then once they get logged out i wont be able to login again? And what about the new account i created, how could that be successful if Twitch wont work on this older browser?
What do you guys think?
