I'm sorry, I'm just new to this field I have noticed people saying about quora on youtube and stuff.
But are there better alternatives or sites to earn money ( social media i mean ) ?

Yeah, youtube is way better than quora, it's a part of Google and will always be an income stream for many influences.
I think the better way is to pick a direction you want to go first. Yes, you can make money with Quora, or Youtube. But what will you be posting about? What will your monetization methods be like? and yea i ve been thinking about youtube i didnt want to start with it bcz i thought it's a lot of work but i think if i research enough in BWH and other sources i might be able to do this too

It's not the best place to make money from that platform. Meanwhile you can try at least doing affiliate marketing. Putting links in some relevant topics within your answer. Or as an option offer a backlink from Quora, but it's no-follow as far as I recall, not really interesting.
