Any site flipping advice?

Who here knows how to sell a website?

I've tried on various forums, and all of them turn up at a dead end. I post my monthly earnings and end up getting offers for half of that from random noobs.

Flipp@ is out since my site links to....stuff not allowed by their terms.

What do you think I should do here?

P.S. The site earns around $250/month(from add$ense) and is completely on autopilot, with 300-500 uv daily

What does it link to that is against Flippa's terms? If it's allowed by adsense chances are it's allowed by Flippa. Drop their support an email and ask if you can

Flippa are usually rather liberal so you can expect to have problems only if your site is a straight up porn site or provides heavy warez (by heavy I mean that it's directly against the law - if it's a site that simply links to downloads then you'll have no probs - for instance, I sold a rapidshare search engine on Flippa recently with no trouble what so ever).

But if it's indeed unfeasible to list it on Flippa then I suggest you to go with either eBay (you'll have to work HARD to make it stand out from the lot though!) or on Craigslist as a "business for sale".

TV shows, and it's been going strong on addsens for 2 months, now being it's 3rd. I've talked with their support, and nothing was accomplished. I even showed them 3 other sites that were sold and clearly broke their terms, but they're like, sorry we have decided that your site does not comply with our rules.

I was actually thinking of making another site that does not break their rules, but links to the tv show site. Then I would just put that one up for sale, and say that I'm giving away a free site to the winning bid, if they choose to accept it.

Very good idea! I recently did the same thing with an application I sold. As generally Flippa doesn't allow apps to be sold over there, I simply created a dummy, one-page website and gave the application as an extra
