I meant she is probably living a good life now but those billions are of no use when you can't use them freely, constantly looking over your shoulder.

Whatever happened to her, this isn't good life. She cannot contact anyone that ever was close to her. Imagine having to abandon all your friends and family, everyone who you ever knew. What kind of life is this, regardless of the amount of money? Are this money are going to buy people who care for you? Who loves you? People who you can trust? No amount of money can do that. It can buy only leeches and people who want to use you for their advantage. Her "dream life" I do not wish to my worse enemy.

She can't travel freely, she can't live in a first-world country in safety.
So, she's probably stuck in some third-tier non-extradition country under an assumed identity. Plus, she's always a target for not only law enforcement but organized crime. You don't think she'd be the perfect target for the mafia?
Likely, she's living somewhere and paying for protection, which is noway to live. Maybe, Putin gets 1/2 and she's safe in Russia, but she's stuck in Russia

Apparently she didn't envisage OneCoin to grow so much so fast, tried to hire someone to build a blockchain for it in the late stages, when the deed was already done and worse still, seemed to have ended up being pimped by organised crime individuals who may be responsible for her highly successful disappearance. Its not very easy to disappear if you do not have help from people experienced with helping people disappear. Anyway you look at it, its not an enviable life to live, cut off from all you love and as someone pointed up here, karma has a way of catching up.
