Growing Reddit business from scratch

If you don’t cheat with upvotes, and don’t spam other people´s subs, Reddit doesn’t care if you have multiple accounts. Basically as long as you stay contained within your own subreddits you’re good to go, you don’t need to use proxies.

I've tried big upvoting sessions by promoting few models and I think it's pretty clear that vote manipulation is quite major problem to pass, got 25 accounts shadowbanned. Overall it's worth it, but still it's time consuming to replace them. Will continue with smaller subreddits which never gave me such problems. Also will make sure accounts have more karma before they start doing any upvotes at all.

I've found a bunch of general porn subreddits which support crossposting and now I'm adding those to my arsenal for growing my own community faster since so far I was growing it only with same niche subreddits.

While working with models I have slown down with my own community a bit but it's still growing steadily, now at 2140 subs.

Currently adding proxy support to one python commenting bot which I'll use for karma farming and I'm in search of a working cross-posting bot. Found one which is not fully what I need and also lacks proxy support. If you have anything I might be willing to buy.

Really good job. Which proxy provider do you use?
I use storm proxies at the moment. Cheap and slow but does the job.

My commenting script should be done in a next day or two I hope, this should solve my karma automation.
Then the next one is cross-posting script which I'll need as my list of crossposting subs is pretty big already and it's becoming time consuming to cross post.
Community passed 2500 subs, the activity is nice, it's pretty much self going already.

Howdy friend, I'm following you on this journey. Do you automatically harvest the subs that support crossposting or do you do it manually?
I have a list of subs to crosspost but I have done it manually, I would like to look for more but automatically.

I'm doing it manually since I don't have all the tools yet.

I'm moving to a new apartment so I'm mostly carrying packages rather than working lately.
I'm still waiting for the comment posting script to get finished, it was suppose to be few days ago but it's normal to have delays with coders.
I have RedditTasker from before and the owner claims he is updating the script regularly and it seems like it can do cross-posting. I will have to check it when I find some time.

I have attached the latest stats, you can see I have slow down a bit with community growing. However I did the redesign of the community which now looks slick. I have also invited ton of great models who are posting regularly by now.
I've had few gigs with models so far but I cannot commit to this business until I have steady account/karma count and can afford to lose few accounts due to vote manipulation. I'm still down overall since I'm investing in scripts which are costly.
My monthly expenses are now Incogniton and StormProxies which is under 200$ and should be easily gettable once I start offering service.
When it comes to accounts I lose one here and there if I overdo the cross posting. So now I do like 2-3 crossposts with 1 account and move to the next and since then it's has been no loses.

I'm not quite sure if this is true but it seems like there is some kind of ratio between upvotes/comments/time or whatever which you cannot break. I'm saying this as since I've had this mass ban, I'm doing it differently with a mix of comments and upvotes and didn't have problems since. If true this would mean you cannot just have a bunch of old accounts with karma and use them for upvoting without any other activity, they will all get banned if you use them for upvoting frequently. However it seems this doesn't apply to comments itself, you can comment indefinitely without upvoting and your accounts will be fine. Please someone with more experience with Reddit let me know what do you think about this conclusion, is it right or wrong?

Here is an update, I've bought some cool tools for Reddit, a commenter, sub finder and cross-poster and things are starting to become interesting!
Past week I was growing one models OF account with Reddit, got to around 200 overall, she had around 80 when we started.
With new tools I think I will be able to up the game a lot. First of all I'm using commenter to safely grow karma on new accounts.
Once they have around 50 karma I start crossposting with them slowly. This is why I needed cross-poster.
Manually I was able to find around 200 crossposting allowing communities and it's a time consuming job so I've bought a sub-finder as well which is currently running and finding me tons of new communities which I'll then sort by categories and insert into cross-poster to see which ones do allow and which do not allow cross-posting.
One more update, I have left StormProxies and using ProxyOmega at the moment. Seem to have better speed IMO for similar kind of cash (a bit more expensive).
Last thing I would like to automate is account registration + app installation with ID and secret output. For this I thing the best way to go would be to make similar service to temp-email.org and throw bunch of domains into a pool. This way I wouldn't worry about not having email ready for "suspended account, reset password" check. I'll do this in the near future.
Community is at 3.9 subs now, growing slowly atm but soon I expect it to be at 500 subs/day which would be sweeeeet.
Since I have automated a lot of stuff I think I will soon start second more general type of NSFW community to use the full potential of crossposter meaning I would be able to use tons of categories subs to crosspost to.

Automation rocks, here is an update of the community growth.

Community is at 4.4k atm. I've managed to gather around amazing models. Here is a tip, is the model is mega famous and it's hard to get her attention or she has chat on reddit closed, you can get her attention by awarding her :)

I've bought another great and simple tool crosspost checker which helps me quickly go through list of reddits and check if there are any crossposts in a first few pages of targeted subreddits and gives me output of crosspost allowed communities.

Good luck with your journey. I'm running a similar project, have few questions

Did you start monetarizing your sub with CPA or you have different plans to bank with you sub?
Did you test it RedditTasker? Are the tools you mention are public or private bots?

Cheers

Hey man, I'm still not monetizing it. I do have one model that I'm pushing and getting some cash out. I did put her in the sidebar, welcoming msg and I sticky her posts a lot.

I did test RedditTasker long time ago when it was still buggy, didn't test it recently. Those are private bots.

Here is an update for the community, stats look juicier and juicier, and I hope to continue growing these number by growing the number of accounts/crossposts.

this week i started to try grow some subreddits with ifttt and some tricks, but only one subs is growing about 30 followers a day or so (my subreddit is sfw food niche and have 114 subs in a week)

seems you have neat tools to automate things, mind to share where you bought?
