Which Crypto app to use without huge fees?

Hi,

I've been using Trustwallet mobile app, but the gas fees are damn too high!
I'm looking for one to send and received crypto with a reasonable fee.
Which one do you recommend?

Are you talking about transaction fee that everyone pays to move funds, or the fee your wallet platform charges on top? Metamask has no extra fee. It's just the TX fee everyone has to pay everywhere.

Eth fees have always been super high (well maybe just past 1 2 years since price blew up).

You can always trade on other chains such as fantom where TX fees are fraction of a penny. But you Will be limitited to what coins are there (every chain has its own set of tokens/ecosystem). Unless you're looking to do wrapped btc/eth. In either case first step will be to bridge your funds over to another chain. Then add the chain to your metamask rpc.

Gas fees not depend of the app or wallet, depend of what crypto do u use. Bitcoin and Ethereum have high fees, so use others, like Solana, Stellar or Cardano using their networks. By the way, if u not want fees use Nano, the fees of Nano are so low.

You can set custom gas fee to send transaction, the cost of regular transaction is 21000 Wei x Gas Price.
To be able to send cheap transaction you must check the gas price in etherscan or whatever chain you are using. When the price drops down send your transaction.
Or set the max price.

I tried that but it fails when I don't put enough Wei x gas Fees. I've seen fees of $30-$50 to spend something like $200.
Sometimes the fees are higher than what your sending, its the same with almost every coin. Ethereum seems to be the highest tho

Oh that's insane I'm using ethereum for years the maximum amount of fee I have paid is 4$ .
I think you are sending your transactions in the wrong time , day time ( UK ) is very expensive, if you want cheap transaction it's between 5am and 9am ( UK ) . Sometimes the price drop down during the weekend.

Just checked rightnow the price is 35 gwei
If you do the calculation 21000 Wei x 35 gwei = 735,000 gwei = 0.80$ / transaction

i use mostly metamask and exodus. phantom is good too if you use solana.

but that's not on blockchain, I'm sure you must got hacked or something, they are a serious company and they would never do something like that (I'm telling you, I've had over 50k dollars with them and never had a problem)
