so let say you got scrape and find some good expired tumblr blogs. what you do extactly with them? you just register that domain and put your own content or?
do you recreate page urls that tumblr had or? what are some other good web 2.0s that I can scrape?

Very few people probably.

If they have a good backlink profile, they make great web 2.0s. You can absolutely get them indexed--especially if the original content was topically or geographically relevant. On low competition keywords you can get them on page 2-3. Not as easy to do that with a jimdo site.

It's harder to index individual posts versus the profile; however, if google indexed the profile, it is crawling the posts. The biggest value is in the profile header, so you're really using that tumblr for one link. You can add embeds in posts which will help a little. All the text links are referrals and I don't think they pass any juice at all.
