I found an expired domain who's DA is 20+ and indexed on Google.

The domain got do follow backlink from Nytimes, Huffpost and other few website.

My question here is backlink profile like this will help in SERP, should I go ahead with this domain?

Check it in the web archive, also check anchors, and then go register it. I would take it for $10.
Most probably i would do nothing with it and it will stay in my domains list lol

If it has good backlinks from NYT, huffungtonpost, etc. then you should go ahead and buy it. After you buy it, share its name with the community

If you have a business idea than go ahead. Ig you want just to get domain name and later sell it - think of business ideas as well. You are going to buy bare domain name. And if you want to gain some profit with selling the domain name you need to think of adding some ideas of development. So you will be selling not bare domain names but business ideas.
